Born in Haryana, Yuzvendra Chahal is a fine right-arm leg-spinner,
Yuzvendra Chahal first played at the age of 19 in a game against Madhya Pradesh at Indore
he also played chess and represented India at junior levels,
He is the only player to represent India in both chess and cricket.
Chahal played Ranji for Haryana since the 2008-09 season the same year
and was signed by Mumbai Indians in 2011 to be part of their IPL team.Yuzvendra Chahal’s father saw talent in Yuzvendra in 2004 and decided to make a special cricket pitch in his 1.5-acre fields for him to practice and develop his skills as a spin bowler. And that is how Chahal started his cricket journey.
Chahal first attracted attention when he took 34 wickets in the National Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy in 2009,
ending the tournament as its leading wicket-taker
On 1 February 2017, he became the first bowler for India to take 6wikets by25 runs against England.
and has the record for the best bowling as a legspinner in T20 history
For the first time in his IPL career, Chahal played all the matches in a season and was one of Virat Kohli’s preference in difficult situations.
Yuzvendra Chahal shot to fame with his good, consistent performances for Royal Challengers in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

he was identified by the selectors and picked for Team India.
